Dr. Elham Sassani

Med.Dent.,MSc (Endodontics) UCL London

Dr Elham Sassani graduated from Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz (Germany) in 2002. After graduation she worked in General Dental Practice in Germany. During that time, she completed her Doctoral Thesis from JGU in Mainz/Germany with Distinction. She relocated to Ireland in 2006 and worked as a General Dentist. She attended many courses in Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics, nationally and internationally.

In 2011 Dr Sassani enrolled on the Masters Programme in Endodontics at the renowned Eastman Dental Institute in London which she successfully completed. She is a member of the Irish Endodontic Society, and the American Endodontic Society. She is also a member of the International Association of Dental Traumatology. At Skerries Dental Care, north Co Dublin, Dr Sassani limits her work to Endodontics. She also works as an Endodontist in specialised endodontic clinics with Dr Teresa Lynn in Blanchardstown, and Dr Johanna Glennon in Ballsbridge.

Dr Sassani combines enthusiasm for Endodontics with a calm and gentle approach to help her patients retain their natural teeth and maintain their smile. After a detailed assessment, she will explain the findings, and discuss treatment options with the patient. She performs root canal treatment under high magnification via microscope and ensures the patient’s experience is comfortable and stress-free.

Dr Peter Hensel

Med.Dent.,MSc (Perio & Impl) DIU Dresden

Dr Peter Hensel graduated from Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz (Germany) in 2004. He has continued his professional career in general and private practice in Germany and Ireland since then. In 2005 he completed his Doctoral Thesis from JGU Mainz/Germany with Distinction. In 2010 he completed a Postgraduate Advanced Programme in Implantology in Goethe University Frankfurt am Main/ Germany under the supervision of Professor G.H. Nentwig. Dr. Hensel has attended many international conferences and courses on Cosmetic Dentistry, Oral Surgery, and Dental Implants.

In 2017 he completed a three-year Masters Program in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at the University of Dresden in Germany with Distinction. He is a member of Irish Dental Association, and of the American Academy of Periodontology.

Dr. Hensel has a gentle, understanding manner which is greatly appreciated by his patients. He delivers high quality dentistry in a professional and relaxed manner.
